A
course in Yoga can allow you to rest, relax, and
recharge your batteries in a peaceful environment. The
aim is to:
• Experience yoga in all its aspects.
• Develop your knowledge on topics such as nutrition,
health, conscience and spirituality.
The basic yoga course covers postures (asanas) that help
to release mental and physical tension and develop
endurance, strength and flexibility. The breathing
exercises provide vitality, while the relaxation
techniques help you to relax. Regular practice of yoga
exercises help relieve muscle tension and dispel stress,
improve breathing and digestion, thereby benefiting the
cardiovascular system and providing relaxation and
profound well-being. These exercises are also adaptable
to people who do not have time to practice a sport, they
are accessible to everyone, regardless of age or
physical condition. |

Hammam |
 |
Called “Moorish bath”, in
reference to the Andalous Muslims living in Spain, and
“Turkish bath” by Westerners. The hammam (حمام or “hot
water”in Arabic) is a wet steam bath, drawing its
origins from Roman thermal baths.
In Morocco, the hammam is a social phenomenon and all
levels of society frequent this public place. It often
consists of 3 or 4 rooms, the first at room temperature,
the second a little hotter and so forth. In the hammam
the pores dilate under the effect of the steam, allowing
a thorough cleaning. You can also request the help of a
masseur. |
